"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world." ~ Albert Einstein ~

Basic Information:

Arlsyn is one of the Higher Planes of existence and is considered a spatial or substantial plane in which it contains solid matter, freestanding energy and living creatures. There are, for the moment, two inner planes that are known of that makes up the Arlsynian Plane, they are the Arlstain and the Navem. A Veil separates the two Planes from one another except in certain areas where the concentration of Astraheia (Starblood) is high. In those places the Veil is thinnest and allows those not of Navemi blood to pass through.

Arlstain is actually what most know of and is often called Arlsyn by those not aware of the separation of the veils.

Currency:

Gold, silver and copper pieces are used to purchase goods, but the barter system is still found in some places, typically small villages or used by nomads. Who are known to use precious stones or certain shells, some, however, use beaded ‘belts’ specifically for this use while some simply trade equal goods.

The Sun Coin: Gold pieces are called Suns and are engraved with a sunburst on the obverse and the symbol of an open book on the reverse. They are roughly the size of a half dollar or 30.61 mm in diameter and are smooth edged. It is not unusual to find teeth marks in these coins as the typical way to make sure that the gold is real is by biting. Occasionally they are melted down and re minted.

One (1) Sun equals three (6) Moons
One (1) Sun equals twenty-eight (28) Stars.

The Moon Coin: Silver pieces are called Moons and are engraved with a cresent moon, a star in the center on the obverse and the symbol of a bow and arrow on the reverse, representing the Goddess of Secrets, Selene Moonbow. They are roughly the size of a dollar or 26.5 mm in diameter and are smooth edged.

Three (6) Moons equals one (1) Sun
One (1) Moon equals nine (9) Stars.

The Star Coin: Copper pieces are called Stars and are engraved with a six pointed on both the obverse and the reverse. They are roughly the size of a quarter or 24.26 mm in diameter and are smooth edged. Because of it being the lowest value, there are far more Stars than there are Moons and Suns.

Nine (9) Stars equals one (1) Moon
