Drigvar
Physical Description: The Dwarves of Arlsyn live an average of four hundred (400) years. The average male is between 4’ 5” and 5’ while the females are 4’ to 4’5”, the weight of the females are considerably less than the males who weigh in at roughly 200 pounds. Their skin tone ranges from light brown to dark ebony. Their eyes are dark and generally have wonderful night vision while their hair is usually black, gray, or brown and worn long with their beards kept in elaborate braids.
Men dress in neutral shades with splashes of red with clothing that is highly durable.
Dwarven women are highly protected in the clans, and rarely do you see them outside of the dwarven strong hold, and if you do, there are normally at least two dwarven men to every woman with them. Dwarven women normally wear all white, some wear other colours as well and keep their faces covered, the only thing that can be seen are their eyes. Dwarven men’s attitudes towards the women are almost that of worship.
Personality: Dwarves are slow to laugh or jest and generally suspicious of strangers, the only exception to this are those that have been out in the world a great deal longer. They do not fight recklessly or timidly but are a great deal like a steam engine, they are slow to start but once going they are next to impossible to stop. Their sense of justice is strong and can easily turn into vengeance if the emotions are strong enough. They rarely see things in shades of grey.
They are known for their skill in warfare and their ability to withstand physical and magical punishment.
Lands: The Dwarves live deep within the mountains of Arlsyn, using natural caverns and cave systems as their strong holds and have carved them into wonderful works of art.
Trade: The main trade are through jewels and stone work.
History: After the last war, the Dwarves have retreated into their strong holds and some have been abandoned altogethe
