They are the sons of the Sildanai, the Elven Gods of Arlsyn. Their names will live on forever in stories through out the land of Arlsyn...But not like those of the Silverleafs, for the Goldsongs history is darker.
The Goldsongs can trace their history back to Raukolina Goldsong, goddess of death and destruction. When Arlsyn was still young, Outlander gods came to take over the world, and seeing their children in pain, the Sildanai sent eight gods to do battle on the land. But the Sildanai were betrayed, and betrayed by their own kind, this was Raukolina who gave her heart to Aegnor Umbar, an Outlander God of Chaos. Raukolina and Aegnor were banished to a tower far into the north of Arlsyn where no one treads. To do such a feat, the remaining seven gave up their powers turning them mortal.
Only one was able to leave the tower, their son Bezar for the spell of binding did not include him. Eventually, he to could no longer stand his parents darkness and left the tower, moving south. Eventually he bonded with his own love and the Goldsong name was carried on through the elves till eventually Kurr Phelan was born.
The descendants of Raukolina has a sense of darkness about them, and always fight the chaos and death that are their inheritance…most seem to be drawn to those of the light.
