Technology:
Due to the nature of Arlsyn’s creation and its magnetism Arlsyn is effectively a null zone, meaning technology does not work. When first introduced, the object will work sporadically before going completely dead; this is due to an electromagnetic force that disables all electronics by sending an electromatic pulse that travels outwards in waves. This shock wave creates a power surge in electronic devices and produces an immense heat that short circuits the device. To put it simply, the device is simply fried.
Anything that contains a circuit board is going to be destroyed with the only way to protect these devices is to wrap them in foil without holes and any external connections should not touch the foil.
However, it has been discovered that some of these devices can be ‘rewired’ in a sense so that the pulses work with instead of hinder the object or have been adjusted to run by other means: Example, Meylor i Blackheart’s blaster and how it works off of stored sunlight and crystals. Otherwise, technology is run by steam, pulley mechanisms and gears.
