Winglings
Appearance: Winglings are elemental ‘fae’, their colour of hair and such varies greatly from white to black and every colour in between. Their colour gives away what they can control the best, and their wings always glow the same colour. Winglings can shrink in size and often when their shrunk and flying, their wings make them look like coloured lightening bugs. Their ears come to a sharper point than elves.
In true form they are typically eighteen inches tall and are a range of brilliant colours. They are extremely light and weigh barely more than a feather. When in a more normal height, which can range anywhere from four foot five inches up to five foot, nine inches, their colour tends to wash out. Bright red hair becomes a auburn in colour.
Racial Traits: Winglings typically look somewhere between mid to late teens when they are adults. While they can be of normal height, it isn’t something that typically happens, they prefer their own height feeling that if they were meant to be any taller they would have been made so.
When in a ‘normal’ height, their wings appear as a tattoo on their back, when they are near a magic source or great emotion when their wings glow in their natural colours.
Relations: Winglings have no enemies and treat none as enemies.
Religion: Winglings follow elements more than they do gods and goddesses, however they do look to Leitha Raven more as a teacher than a deity.
